You know those annoying ads at the top and side of windows that are like, "shoot 5 ducks for a free ipod" or whatever and they're just a dumb little game? Well I just saw one that was "Tickle the Fat Kid Until he Barfs" ... and yes, I admit I played. First he pees his pants, then he goes spews hitting the top. It was hilarious. Oh and I figured out how to take screen shot!!

Summer Vacation

2:28 PM Edit This 4 Comments »
I'm sure by reading my blog you have noticed my summer has been kind of lame. I stay cooped up in my house all week and on weekends go home to Bartlesville. However, this week will be different. On Friday I leave for South Dakota to visit my grandparents (mother's side) with my family. I am going to make it the best vacation EVER. I'm trying to convince my mom to let me go mountain climbing and cave exploring-I'm not sure on the technical term of "cave exploring." I told her we also need to rent some jet skis. We will also be hiking the Little Devil's Tower which is fun, but I want to fill the entire week with ADVENTURE! I realize I sound out doorsy right now, don't be deceived, I am the biggest girly girl, but I'm suffering from the effects of apartment fever. I also hope to get the entire family out to the Rushmore Maze and Mount Rushmore. I'm also extremely excited for family meals and Uno Attack. I CANNOT WAIT. Actually going could be a bad idea, and then I'll realize how much I hate being in Oklahoma City by myself, and then I'll want to quit my job. Hopefully the fun doesn't have that effect! ;) I still have about a month before I leave!

My New Obsession!

10:11 PM Edit This 1 Comment »
I really do have a reason for being up this late..well not an important one. I am suddenly obsessed with antique rings. It started out by my friend having the most beautiful ring in one of her Facebook picture. I wanted one just like it! I was about to ask her where she got it, but someone else had and my friend told her that it was her Grandmas old ring. I started looking up Native American rings because it was turquoise, but didn't have much luck. Then I started looking up antique rings and there are so many pretty ones! I can't go to bed I must look at them all! They run roughly from 450-2000 dollars, at least the ones I've seen.

The pearl one I'm obsessed with it is from the 1950s and the others I think are pretty. Too bad I can't afford them! Maybe some day.

Brazilian Rainbow Boa

I want this snake SO BAD! It is a Brazilian Rainbow Boa. I think I might go to a Reptile show and look for one. I think the next Reptile show is in August. If anyone wants to come with me they are tons of fun! It is in Tulsa too, so Tulsa relatives you need to come for sure!

Here is a better picture of its coloring.

maybe on my 5345866894th try...

My 5345866894 try to eat healthy and exercise. I've said I was going to eat healthy probably since 5th grade, and yet it never happens. I start diet after diet and never finish. I have purchased numerous work out videos only for them to never be opened.

So what makes this time different?

I'm 19 and I have more health problems than an 80 year old woman. I have constant back pains, which my chiropractor says is from a minor form of scoliosis, however I know that if I strengthen my ab muscles my back problems would most likely melt away. I have a high resting heart rate: 84 and the highest a person really wants is 70(according to google ;) ). I have bad acid reflux which means most time I can't even eat without being nauseated afterwards and I have a very high chance of some day having diabetes.

Yesterday I was watching a television show where this lady who was out of breath from just going through a dance routine said, "I need the body of an 18 year old!" That got me thinking, I'm 19 and should be in my prime, however I can't walk around a store without my back hurting or play a sport without totally being wiped out. I want to be healthy and I want to have energy. There is no more putting it off.

Wish me luck!

XOXO

I read every article on MSN daily (haha!) here is one I found interesting, I'll let you read it with my commentary in italics!!

10 Kissing Facts

1. Two out of every three couples turn their heads to the right when they kiss.

2. A simple peck uses two muscles; a passionate kiss, on the other hand, uses all 34 muscles in your face. Now that’s a rigorous workout!
Yet supposedly it takes 13 muscles to smile, and 50 to frown!

3. Like fingerprints or snowflakes, no two lip impressions are alike.
I've heard the same about tongues....

4. Kissing is good for what ails you. Research shows that the act of smooching improves our skin, helps circulation, prevents tooth decay, and can even relieve headaches.
PREVENTS TOOTH DECAY!?!??!

5. The average person spends 336 hours of his or her life kissing.
AHAHAHAH! WOW! That is 14 days!

6. Ever wonder how an “X” came to represent a kiss? Starting in the Middle Ages, people who could not read used an X as a signature. They would kiss this mark as a sign of sincerity. Eventually, the X came to represent the kiss itself.

7. Talk about a rush! Kissing releases the same neurotransmitters in our brains as parachuting, bungee jumping, and running.
Too bad it doesn't burn as many calories as running! LOL.

8. The average woman kisses 29 men before she gets married.
How many woman does a man kiss before he is married?

9. Men who kiss their partners before leaving for work average higher incomes than those who don’t.
I'm kissing my husband every day before he goes to work!

10. The longest kiss in movie history was between Jane Wyman and Regis Tommey in the 1941 film, You’re in the Army Now. It lasted 3 minutes and 5 seconds. So if you’ve beaten that record, it’s time to celebrate!
Sounds like one boring movie!

....I hope you all enjoyed the 10 kissing facts!

WOW!

I am so out of shape. I just did a workout video, I thought I was going to die. (Okay so I'm really dramatic!) I had to pause so many times in between. I think however the more I do it the better I'll get. I have faith in myself. I even want to try and eat healthy tomorrow. I already have my breakfast planned out, instant oatmeal...plain and unflavored. YUM! I'll just add some 1% milk.

So I've decided writing a blog and watching Fraiser on the television late at night is not good combination. Is my blog even making sense right now? I hope I'm not that bad at multi-tasking! However, I think I am. Let me know...thanks..

My sister told me to fix where my ad was, she said it looks dumb. I kind of like it there. I'll keep it there for awhile. Tomorrow I think I'll make something exciting happen so I can have an interesting post.

RIP Fluffy.

2:53 PM Edit This 2 Comments »
Don't worry, Fluffy isn't one of my dogs, Fluffy is a story I want to share with you. A couple years ago my family bought a house on the corner of our somewhat "ghetto" neighborhood. We were going to tear the house down and evenutally make it one big yard (someone bought the house in the middle of our house and the one purchased, so it didn't happen), but before we tore it down, we explored. The house was full of junk, and most floors in the house felt like they would fall through when stepped on, really scary on the 2nd floor! Anyways, in the backyard there was a little grave lined with stones for a pet named Fluffy (I actually don't remember its name, but it was something generic like Fluffy). My father and Uncle Don had some great idea to dig Fluffy up, this grave had been around forever considering no one had lived in the house for over 8 years or more. Excited to see some little animal bones my Dad and Uncle started digging. However, what we all crowded around to see when they were finished was not little animal bones, rather a cat tied up in a Wal-mart bag! It had been preserved because it was wrapped in layers and layers of plastic bags! It was disgusting! They got Fluffy out, I'm not sure if they opened her up or not, because I bolted out of there when it was still in one piece!

FROZEN WAFFLES!!

I want them so bad. They are calling my name from the freezer, along with the oreos from the pantry.

..I don't know how long this new eating style is going to last.

The Ab Diet

12:25 PM Edit This 2 Comments »
I started this diet called "The Ab Diet for Women." In six weeks, supposedly I can loose up to 20 lbs. It hasn't been hard at all, today was the beginning of day 3 and I've already lost 5 lbs from the last time I weighed myself. However, I should clarify something, The Ab Diet is not a diet, it is a life long commitment, which hit me really hard today when I was at Panera Bread. I got this smoked turkey sandwich, but I really wanted some pastries from their bakery, and I though, "its okay I'll just eat one when I'm done with this diet," but I'll never be done! I'm always going to have to eat healthy. I imagine after awhile I will loose my cravings, but what if I don't? I'm allowed one cheat meal per week, so I'm going to have to start writing really long lists of what I want to eat for that one meal! So far for my cheat meal I'm going to eat, double stuffed oreos, pizza, curly fries, and cinnamon rolls. Yes this is just one meal, but I'll fit it all in there! Would you like to know more about the diet and less about my cravings? The Ab Diet is based on loosing weight around your midsection which is the most harmful. You eat 3 meals a day and 3 snacks a day so your metabolism is steady. Each meal has to include 2 of the 12 powerfoods which are..

Almonds and other nuts
Beans and legumes
Spinach and other green vegetables

Dairy
Instant Oatmeal
Eggs
Turkey and other Lean Meats

Peanut Butter
Olive Oil
Whole Grains
Extra Protein
Raspberries and Other Berries

Then there are exercise that should be done to build stomach muscles, but these are not even incorporated until the third week. Its been pretty good so far! I'll let you know how it goes! Hopefully I can stick to it, my cheat meal will be on Father's Day for lunch so I hope its worth it!

Oh my.

8:00 PM Edit This 3 Comments »
I say "oh my" all the time, its my favorite phrase. It works because thats what you say when something ridiculous happens, and my life is ridiculious like 24/7. What am I saying "oh my" about now you make ask (or not)? I have yet again changed my plans.
I am going to OWU again this upcoming fall. I can finally announce this decision because I told my good friend who I was going to be roommates with at SNU. That is the one reason I hate to go to OWU, all my friends are at SNU. I realize I won't make the friends I made at SNU because I won't be living on campus, and most likely not participating in the activities at OWU, but I still feel it is the best decision. Why when my social life will suffer? I can go to OWU free, for atleast a year, my mother says it is 2 and a half years, but I'm not sure if that is correct or not. OWU is going to be better in the long run, it will be cheaper and save me lots of money in general too. I will not use as much gas and not buy as much food since I'll eat my mother's cooking. Another thing I have changed, yet again, is my major. I will be studying biology. I want to aspire to be a vet. I love animals, I always have and I never wanted to be a vet before because I thought it would be very difficult. However, I started thinking about it and just because it is difficult doesn't mean I can't do it, and now that I'll be living at home instead of on campus it will be much easier for me to study.

Anyways, that is about it, I just wanted to inform everyone of my decision. I'll try and add some pictures of my puppies this week. I got a lot of pictures of them this weekend, they were very naughty!!!

Lucky!!!

10:17 AM Edit This 2 Comments »

Here is the picture of Lucky that Marlita asked for she is with the big baby Nor. This other picture shows how naughty she is! She has done that to about all my mothers flowers.

I hope you all have a great weekend! I probably won't because I am going to Ardmore, Oklahoma population 6. Okay I really don't know that but I am certain there is nothing there and thats where I am spending my weekend. My dad, uncle Mark, and Jonnie are doing Oklahoma freewheel and will bike all through Oklahoma for a week. That does not sound like fun at all to me, but heey that is fun for them!

I'll write more for you again soon!

All Dogs go to Heaven...Hopefully.

I am stuck at work. Typically I have nothing to do, but today I'm more impatient than most. I am going home this weekend, and just want to get on the road! I don't have many things to do to distract myself here. I can read msn, check my facebook and gmail, and then I'm about out of options. Occasionally I go to the bathroom or get up and walk around the office like I'm doing something to waste a couple minutes, but I don't even feel like doing that today.
I am excited to go home today because I will get to see the beautiful puppies! My dad's dog Nor, who will some day be a great wild boar hunter and see Lucky my mothers dog who hopefully won't die any time soon. Would you like to hear what I mean by hopefully she won't die soon? Let me tell the story...

I went shopping in Owasso last summer and saw cute dog clothes on sale. They were so precious and I had to buy them. This made me want a little dog so bad I couldn't stand it. I went to the local pet store and saw a cute white puppy with lots of energy. I had to have it! I could barely stand the thought of my parents saying no. Somehow I convinced them that it was my dog and I would take care of it and pay for everything it needed. Finally with probably some help from my mother, my dad said yes! I was so excited. I went into the pet store the next morning and just told them, "I want that white dog." They told me they had never had anyone just come in and ask for a dog before. I bought her, and they gave me some free food and a free vet visit. I put here in the passenger seat and started driving home, then the dog food fell from the top of my car onto my windshield. I was just really excited and forgot it. I named the dog Nieve, which means snow, because of my love for ... Hispanics! Anyways, I got it home and it cried the first nights and kept messing in its cage over night, but it grew to be a great dog. Everyone loved it. Then I had to go away to college. It was a very sad time, I had to say goodbye to my baby. I had taught her tricks, and house broke her, and took her everywhere, she really was like my child. Everytime I went home I was more excited to see her than my family, and when I talked to my mom on the phone I would always ask to talk to her. She was so precious. However, I noticed my mother started liking her a lot too. This was a problem, I fully intended on taking her with me when I got out of college. When I was working in the gym two months into school I got a call from my mother, she was crying a lot. I thought someone had died! She said, "Becca, Neive is dead." Oh my goodness I started crying! In front of all the people in the gym, it was really embarassing because I hate to cry. It turns out that my 12 year old brother's friend was driving my dad's truck on my Uncle Joe's land. Neive was in the back of the truck on a leash and my brother was holding her by it. For some reason Neive jumped out the back while it was moving (not the brightest dog) and she got hit by the back wheel. Well these were sad times and my mom could not handle not having a little dog. My dad bought her another one just like Nieve. It was so cute, but not my Nieve. I still liked it though, because I am a dog lover. This one didn't have a name for quite awhile until the next week we saw it eating a lizard. We gave her the name Lizzy. Nieve died in September and around Febuaray I got a call from my mother that Lizzy had drown in our tiny back yard pond, which really serves no purpose but to give the bees water. My dad did not want to get another one, my mom said she didn't but secretly she did. My dad started at looking at dogs even though he said he didn't want one, odd..He didn't want a small dog anymore though like Lizzy and Nieve, he wanted one he could go wild boar hunting with, even though he never goes hunting, even more odd. Anyways my dad found these dogs called Norwegian Elk Hounds that would be great for hunting and he had is heart set on it, yet my mother wanted a little Westie again. When I came home from Mexico during Spring Break, I saw the baby gate up in our back room, which is used as a doggy gate. However, I didn't see any dog. I started screaming, I knew there had to be one. I walked to the back room and there was a tiny westie. It was so cute. My parents had named it Lucky, because "It will be Lucky to stay alive." How appropriate. Lucky is still alive, and my Dad got his Norwegian Elk Hound for boar hunting some day, which he named "Nor" for Norwegian...I was not there when he decided this or I would have talked him out of it.
Now our family has 3 dogs: Molly who I have had since kindergarten, Lucky who hopefully will live a long life, and Nor who perhaps will someday hunt wild boar with my father.

I hope you enjoyed the long story, I enjoyed passing along some time at work. Have a good day everyone!

What I love..

Red Flowers

White Flowers

More White Flowers!! Actually just flowers in general!

What else do I love? (in no particular order)
  • Classical Music
  • Broadway Musicals and Listening to the Soundtracks Full Blast in my Car
  • Puppies
  • Snakes-actually ALL reptiles, I'd list them all but the list would go on forever!
  • MY FAMILY (extended included!)
  • Reality Television
  • Make-up, even though I barely wear it!
  • Bottled Water
  • Jewelry, but I never wear it!
  • Pineapple
  • People who Hold Open Doors
  • Different languages
  • Being an Expert, even though I'm not really an expert on anything! However, I like to be the only person in a room that knows something well enough to explain it to others
  • Taking Pictures and Photoshopping Them
I have plenty of things to add to that list, but I don't want to bore people! I didn't even put God on the list, but don't be deceived, I love him, VERY much, I just feel like he is a little more important than all those things and doesn't need to be on a trivial list.

Lets do the opposite now...Things I HATE
  • Chalkboard Erasers
  • When People Try to Get me to Buy Something, I'm so bad at saying no!
  • Fruit Flies
  • Dirty Dishes (Which I have plenty of right now!)
  • Ignorant and/or Skeptical People
  • The Windows Side of my Mac, yes, I can use either windows or mac on my computer, and I can NOT figure out half the things when I rarely venture to the Windows side.
  • Waking up to go to Work, if it was something fun, it might be a different story.
  • Blow Drying my Hair
  • Mean Cats
...I'm really just adding the most ridiculous things because I don't hate that many things. I like much more than I hate!

Okay, that was the random post of the day. I hope you enjoyed it. Do you love or hate anything? I like comments so hopefully I'm setting you up! ;)

Strike Out

I went to a Redhawks game this weekend with my sister and her friend Julie. I had a very good time until some obnoxious men came and sat behind us in the 2nd inning. We left after the 4th. I get my the Redhawk tickets free from work. OH MY GOSH, I really cannot concentrate. I'm trying to keep up with my blog, but man I am tired. I can't write very well as it is, but I'm watching television and half way asleep. I really want to keep up with this blog, because this is actually my second blog, my first one has one post from 2006. I guess I'm already doing 50% better ... or.....I am not sure, mathematics aren't very easy when you're tired either!! I will try and write my next post before midnight next time. I'll do better!

OH and here is an interesting picture...
