I can guarantee this website will make you hungry or want to puke. I'm not sure which one.

I slammed on my brakes, dug through my purse, and zoomed in with my camera all to get this picture.

2 weeks!

In less than two weeks I will be on my way to Bartlesville, where I will live until August. I have to say, my first thought on moving back to Bartlesville and staying there for the entire summer were not to positive. But, I've thought about it for awhile now and geniuenly excited for this summer. It will give me a chance to make some cash, and I already have a couple jobs lined up. Also it would be great if I could actually get in shape this summer (tips and helpful hint on staying on track are welcome!). All that is left now is actually finishing up my classes. Wish me luck!

Here is a picture to liven up my post a little (I found this on Flikr, I love the color!):

Boring Summer.

Okay, so maybe this doesn't qualify as the saddest day of my life, but it turns out I am most likely not able to go to South Korea. This was what I have been excited for since August. Turns out I'm about 600 dollars short of a plane ticket, and even then I'd still need money for spending and money to cover bills while I am gone. My mom had a great idea for me to work in Bartlesville and then go towards the end of the summer. I was excited that I still would be able to go, but after talking to Dalene that is when she will be super busy with work, I would barely even see her. So now my plans are working in Bartlesville all summer. It will be nice to save money, but I'm ready to go somewhere else after being there for a couple days. Beth did point out one good thing, now I can buy my 300 dollar shoes, but now even those don't seem as exciting since I cannot impress a Korean with them. Sorry if I sound really lame and depressing, I'm just really upset!

I need some advice!

So the other day I feel in love with these shoes when watching an excellent show, Dollhouse, while one of the main characters wore them..

Then I came to the shocking realization they are $370.00. Oh, but how bad I want them!

So I decided to look at other heels and maybe find a cheaper pair I could be satisfied with. Then I found these...

They are only $90.00, which is still a lot of money, but they are $180.00 less than the ones I originally wanted. And the only difference is they are a lighter color! Should I get them? They are so cute!

Kansas City Zoo

Over Spring break we also went to Kansas City for a couple days. One of the things we did there was go to the school. Here are a few of the highlights.

Cute Bird

There were geese all over the zoo. For some reason my dad decided to try and pet one.

My Father would like to know if anyone can identify our train driver...

The most EXTREMELY ridiculous thing.

For Jonnie's youth group there was a contest over Spring Break that whoever had the most extreme picture in the youth group t-shirt over the break won a free digital camera. My dad thought making a bee beard would be extreme. They put this weird honey onto a paper plate. This is how it turned out.

And here is the EXTREME picture for Jonnie to submit..

I'm sitting in class!

Maybe that is why I'm doing so terrible in this class. Don't worry I'll bring it up by the end. :)

Anyways, soon I will be in Bartlesville for over a week. Please someone plan something exciting. That is all. Back to lecture...

I'm AWFUL at saving money!

So after spending quite a bit of money on clothes that were totally necessary, I decided I needed a hair change too. I highlighted my hair. Necessary? No. Worth it? Yes.

Here is a picture that my mother has been begging me for..

I have no clue when I am actually going to get enough saved for Korea when I keep spending my money like this! It is too much fun!

Any ideas?

First I would like to say, I hate shopping for clothes. Spending money and trying on countless outfits before I actually like how one looks does not appeal to me. Instead of shopping, I usually take the clothes my sister no longer wants. However, each season I'll buy one or two new things. This means I've been wearing all my clothes about 3 or 4 years old, except a few items of clothing. I'm to a point where my clothes don't fit me the same way and the ones that I still fit into are getting holes are just look bad. The other day my favorite pair of jeans that I've had about 2 years, ripped in the back. The other pair I wear is a black color, and I have another pair I've had since I was about 16 and I'm not the same size as I was then. My tennis shoes are ripping and I've been noticing holes in the underarms of most my shirts.
Tomorrow is a dreaded day, I have to go buy pretty much a new wardrobe. This creates a problem since I've being trying to put most my money in savings. I need to do some smart shopping. This is where I need your help. I am not a smart shopper! For some reason only the most expenisive brands and newest styles appeal to me. Where should I go? I need some tips! Help me!

Someone called me a wimp for telling this way...

This is the first any of my family is finding this out, including my mom. I think its funny this way. HAHA..

So I decided my upper lip is sad without anything.

I went and got that fixed. This guy was kind of scary. He was making me want to laugh though.

He was very clean though. He even used 4 pairs of gloves.

Now my upper lip is happy!

It didn't hurt at all either! :) I must have a high pain tolerence. Good thing since I don't want any meds when I have a child someday.

Good News!

Since last semester I have been increasingly interested in becoming yearbook editor. I made an application and turned it in last Friday. Today I had my interview. I was super nervous, I wanted to barf all day. I thought I did terrible, I kept thinking after it was over of all the things I could have answered better. Then I got a phone call, "Congratulations......" my friends saw my facial expressions and started screaming in the background. I am SO excited!

I really want to buy some cute clothes for the summer. However, that isn't happening because of me wanting to go to South Korea. AHHHHH. I hate it. These are the shoes I would get if I had money. Aren't they both SO CUTE??? Probably no one will think so because they are kind of out there, but I would wear them both ALL THE TIME.

Tornadoes are NOT fun.

1:57 PM Edit This 4 Comments »
I do not know why I use to like tornadoes. Probably because when I use to like them I would be in my front yard looking around trying to actually see one. At SNU they are a little more safe than I prefer to be and have us all sitting in a basement. You would think this would be fun, everyone getting together in a basement, but no. People have things to be doing, no one wants to be sitting down here, atleast I am getting some homework done. I am also hoping that my night class will be cancelled. I guess the tornado has already taken down Target. As long as it doesn't take down Wal-Mart!

I <3 school! :D

I really like school so much better when I'm not stressed out of my mind. My classes are really enjoyable and fun, and I have so much more free time. However, my free time is typically taken up by work. I'm trying to get lots of money because I need like $100 a week to get enough money to save for a ticket to S. Korea. Today I worked 8-2, I actually get to do something for the weekend, so me and my friends are going to a really inappropriate scary movie-but it is in 3D!! How cool is that? I'm super excited, I haven't seen a 3D movie in years. Wish you all a great weekend!

xoxo

P.S. I want my hair colored like the Olsen twin on the left, what do you think?

Bonjourno!

3:25 PM Edit This 1 Comment »
I really don't know how "Bonjourno" is spelled, but it is "hello" in Italian-it is one of the few words that I learned. I went to Rome because my aunt and uncle, on my mother's side, offered to take me. I was not about to say no to a free trip to Rome! We went with a man who is a history teacher at OWU, and explained the history behind all of the things we saw.

I tried 3 times yesterday to upload my photos and I kept getting an error. However, if you go here..
http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?pid=30151788&l=a8782&id=1438470320 you can see 60 pictures from my trip! Where I was only going to give you 5!

I'm in Rome!

The keyboard is really messing me up. The < is where the shift should be, the à is where the apostrophe should be and there are lots of symbol keys such as òàù耣 but I am managing. I am loving it here, spending too much money, and coming home in 2 days. I will be sad to be leaving, but glad to be getting back to my normal scedule. CAIO!
