2 weeks!

In less than two weeks I will be on my way to Bartlesville, where I will live until August. I have to say, my first thought on moving back to Bartlesville and staying there for the entire summer were not to positive. But, I've thought about it for awhile now and geniuenly excited for this summer. It will give me a chance to make some cash, and I already have a couple jobs lined up. Also it would be great if I could actually get in shape this summer (tips and helpful hint on staying on track are welcome!). All that is left now is actually finishing up my classes. Wish me luck!

Here is a picture to liven up my post a little (I found this on Flikr, I love the color!):

Boring Summer.

Okay, so maybe this doesn't qualify as the saddest day of my life, but it turns out I am most likely not able to go to South Korea. This was what I have been excited for since August. Turns out I'm about 600 dollars short of a plane ticket, and even then I'd still need money for spending and money to cover bills while I am gone. My mom had a great idea for me to work in Bartlesville and then go towards the end of the summer. I was excited that I still would be able to go, but after talking to Dalene that is when she will be super busy with work, I would barely even see her. So now my plans are working in Bartlesville all summer. It will be nice to save money, but I'm ready to go somewhere else after being there for a couple days. Beth did point out one good thing, now I can buy my 300 dollar shoes, but now even those don't seem as exciting since I cannot impress a Korean with them. Sorry if I sound really lame and depressing, I'm just really upset!

I need some advice!

So the other day I feel in love with these shoes when watching an excellent show, Dollhouse, while one of the main characters wore them..

Then I came to the shocking realization they are $370.00. Oh, but how bad I want them!

So I decided to look at other heels and maybe find a cheaper pair I could be satisfied with. Then I found these...

They are only $90.00, which is still a lot of money, but they are $180.00 less than the ones I originally wanted. And the only difference is they are a lighter color! Should I get them? They are so cute!

Kansas City Zoo

Over Spring break we also went to Kansas City for a couple days. One of the things we did there was go to the school. Here are a few of the highlights.

Cute Bird

There were geese all over the zoo. For some reason my dad decided to try and pet one.

My Father would like to know if anyone can identify our train driver...

The most EXTREMELY ridiculous thing.

For Jonnie's youth group there was a contest over Spring Break that whoever had the most extreme picture in the youth group t-shirt over the break won a free digital camera. My dad thought making a bee beard would be extreme. They put this weird honey onto a paper plate. This is how it turned out.

And here is the EXTREME picture for Jonnie to submit..

I'm sitting in class!

Maybe that is why I'm doing so terrible in this class. Don't worry I'll bring it up by the end. :)

Anyways, soon I will be in Bartlesville for over a week. Please someone plan something exciting. That is all. Back to lecture...

I'm AWFUL at saving money!

So after spending quite a bit of money on clothes that were totally necessary, I decided I needed a hair change too. I highlighted my hair. Necessary? No. Worth it? Yes.

Here is a picture that my mother has been begging me for..

I have no clue when I am actually going to get enough saved for Korea when I keep spending my money like this! It is too much fun!
